Earth Day: Your Motivation to Start in on a Green Business Opportunity Or Be a Green Business

Friday, April 22nd, 2011

April 22nd marks the 41st anniversary of the first modern environmental movement.  Earth Day came into the picture thanks to a man named Gaylord Nelson-then a U.S. Senator from Wisconsin.  Nelson came up with the idea after witnessing a massive oil spill in Santa Barbara, California in 1969.  However, what truly inspired this U.S. Senator was the student anti-war movement.  With their determination and energy, 20 million Americans took the streets, parks, and auditoriums on April 22nd and spoke out about the need for a strong, sustainable environment.

As a result, in 1990, a group of environmental leaders approached a man names Denis Hayes to create another big campaign for a cleaner earth.  This time, Earth Day went global.  Today, we still celebrate Earth Day as a huge celebration, but what if we celebrate Earth Day every day?

If people around the world celebrated Earth Day 365 days of the year, we would make an enormous impact on our environment.  In fact, one way that you can begin your green journey is by starting your own entirely green business with an exciting new green business opportunity.  With the right skills and knowledge, you will be able to help other businesses save thousands while reducing waste through recycling and putting more greens back into your wallet.

So the next time you are at an Earth Day celebration, think of how you could be celebrating this exciting event every day and not just on April 22nd.  By creating your own business, you too will have the opportunity to make a difference like Nelson and Hayes.

Don’t Forget: Trash is All Around You, and So is a Work at Home Business Opportunity

Sunday, April 17th, 2011

I recently went out to dinner with some friends to celebrate their recent engagement.  It was a meal filled with delicious appetizers, main dishes, multiple sides, and endless bread baskets.  As I was enjoying the company of my friends, I couldn’t help but notice how much food and paper products were being wasted within this 2 ½ hour time span.work at home business trash 300x225 Dont Forget: Trash is All Around You, and So is a Work at Home Business Opportunity home business opportunity

As I continued to watch everyone congratulate my friends, all I could pay attention to was everything else around me.  Not only were we creating waste but everyone around me was too.  Now there were over 40 people surrounding me producing trash and not having any place to put it other than the garbage bins outside the restaurant.

You are probably thinking to yourself, why were you watching waste being created rather than celebrating the engagement of your friends.  Well there is a point to my madness.  While people are enjoying a nice night out, you could be among them and making money at the same time!

That’s right, while you eat out with your friends and family, you could be making money at the same moment.  By creating your own entirely green business you not only will be able to work from the comfort of your own home or be in charge of your work schedule but you will have the skills and knowledge to help other businesses create a recycling plan that will allow them to save money and make our environment a cleaner place.

So the next time you are out enjoying  the company of your friends or out celebrating a special occasion, think about how you could be having a good time and making money at the same time, all with a work at home business opportunity that helps the environment with better business recycling.

Spring is Coming: A Reminder that Everyone Can Be Green!

Thursday, February 24th, 2011

The snowfall this year seems to be never ending. Every time we turn on the weather channel, the meteorologists are telling us to prepare ourselves for yet another winter snow storm. However, have no fear spring is almost here! It may seem like it will never come, especially with all of the snow coming and freezing weather lingering for days but soon enough we have the pleasure of hearing the birds singing, green grass growing, and flowers blossoming back to life.

Get out of the cold, work at home and be your own boss - never have to snow blow at 7am again!

With spring on its way, we also begin to think of ways that we can bring ourselves out of our winter routines. For many, spring is a time for some good old spring cleaning. If you’re like me, this is a time that you dread the most. Cleaning, dusting, and spending time organizing is exactly the opposite of appealing. However, you don’t have to wait for spring to get here to make things greener and cleaner in your life!

In order to bring the “green” back into in your life just a little faster this winter, why not take advantage of an entirely eco friendly business opportunity that lets you work at home? With the right tools and knowledge you will be able to help other companies save money by recycling while putting more money into your pocket! Not only will you be able to earn some more green, but you will be able to work from the comfort of your own home and be your own boss during this brutally cold season!

Go Green and Earn More Washingtons

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011

Did you know that today is George Washington’s birthday?  Not only  was he our nation’s first president, but he was also a dominant military leader during the Revolutionary War who helped draft the Constitution in 1787.  Now, you are probably thinking learned these fast-facts about George Washington in grade school, but what could George Washington possibly have to do with recycling?

Work at home, be your own boss, and earn some more of these!

Trash is everywhere.  No matter where you turn or look, a piece of trash can be found on the sides of the street, the highway, or even your own home!  In fact, it is beginning to look like a war zone out there with the amount of waste we are producing on a daily basis.  However, you too can be a leader like George Washington and help fight the war against trash.  By starting a green work at home business, you will have the ability to be your own boss , establish you own work schedule, and put more Washington’s (maybe even some Benjamin’s) back into your wallet.

By helping other businesses realize the amount of waste they producing, they will have the opportunity to save more while you earn more with your own work at home business opportunity.  So the next time you hear someone mention that it is George Washington’s Birthday, don’t think of it just another federal holiday that we celebrate.  But think of it as a new way where you can become a leader in the waste war by creating a new at home business opportunity where you will have the chance to put more Washington’s into your pocket.

Tired of all the White Snow? Stay Inside and Help Others go Green with a Green Business Opportunity

Thursday, February 17th, 2011

Are you sick of shoveling snow, scraping ice, clearing off, and warming up your car before you begin your journey to work or school?  No matter how far the distance your commute is, none of us enjoy it when the weatherman  informs us that we should prepare ourselves for another snow storm No matter how far the distance your commute is, none of us enjoy it when the weatherman informs us that we should prepare ourselves for another snow storm.

Let’s face it; no one enjoys the winter routine to get to their destination. If you are struggling this winter to get through your day to day routine, why not do something about it?  Why not consider making a career change and create your own business?  Not only would you no longer have to put layers upon layers of clothing in attempt to stay warm while you prepare for your daily commute, but you already have the product you will be selling.  In fact, it is all around you waiting for you to take advantage of- trash.  Yes, the annoying, smelly items that we often overlook are the key to a work at home business opportunity that lets you be your own boss.

With the right tools and knowledge, you will be able to see how much waste other businesses are producing and how much they could be saving through recycling.  There is a lot of worth that is often undetected in trash, but when recycled we are able to uncover and restore its value once again.

So the next time you are zipping up your jacket, putting on your gloves, and pulling up your boots or cleaning off your vehicle in order to battle the winter weather commute, think of how you could instead  think, “I can work at home and be my own boss instead of dealing with this!” And it’s all part of an entirely green business opportunity– even if everything seems white.

Love is in The Air, Trash is On the Ground

Monday, February 14th, 2011

While I was standing in the checkout line finalizing my purchases today, I noticed something that I had missed while I was making my rounds throughout the store.  Since I was busily walking around the store looking for everything on my list, I failed to notice the full aisle dedicated to Valentine’s Day.  How could I have missed it, though?  It was bright red and pink and completely filled with Valentine’s Day cards, chocolates, candy, stuffed animals, and the list goes on. Then it dawned on me that Valentine’s Day is only 3 weeks away and soon all of these festive items will be purchased and given to loved ones of every age.

See all the trash a simple holiday can create? You can make a home business opportunity out of it.

As we are all excited to either give out our gifts or receive them, we may overlook one major issue that comes with this “Holiday of Love”… it creates a lot of trash!  Think about the box of chocolates or conversation hearts you will (hopefully) be receiving on February 14th , where will the box go once you finished?  Or the cards that you will receive saying how much you are loved from the ones that mean the most to you, will it still be in your possession 5 months from now? Nope!  Those boxes and cards that you no longer need will most likely end up collecting dust or thrown into the trash.

On the other hand, rather than thinking of those items as garbage, think of it in the context of a business opportunity in the making.  It’s simple. Trash is one of the few things in life that you are able to count on being all around you, all the time!  But what you didn’t know is that trash has the ability to help you create an entirely green business where you are able to work at home as your own boss while helping others recycle.

So come Valentine’s day, when you receive a box of chocolates or a card filled with love, and before you toss the trash weeks down the road, think about those items as a home business opportunity instead of waste.

Love Your Trash, Love your Green Work at Home Business

Thursday, February 10th, 2011

“I love you” is a phrase that can be translated into several dozen languages.  It is a phrase that we use to express our deepest feelings and admiration for another person.   Now take a moment and think about the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word “love”?  Most people would think of a loved one, family, friends, a pet, etc.  However, what about loving your trash?

Yes, your trash. Where’s the love for trash?

We spend so much time loving someone, when we could actually be spending more time loving our trash. Seriously, by recycling your waste you get to see the value of something you so often take for granted. With recycling, you gain perspective. Who knows? Maybe it can help you gain a new perspective on other parts of your life as well.

For instance, by loving your trash you are able to make the environment a cleaner place, make a positive impact on the world we live in, and make a living! That’s right, with recycling, you can take advantage of an opportunity that gives you the chance to establish an entirely green home business, be your own boss, and create your own work schedule.   Supplied with the right tools and knowledge, you will be able to assist other companies save more money with better recycling.

So the next time you overlook the amount of trash and waste that surrounds you on a daily basis, begin to realize how recycling is all around you as well.  As silly as it may sound, once you begin to love your trash, it will start loving you back! No, your trash won’t grow arms and take you out to dinner – but when you make a living helping other businesses recycle with a green work at home business, you’ll have the extra money to do what you want. So yes – trash and recycling can pay for your dinner.

People Watching and the Art of Waste

Tuesday, February 8th, 2011

Have you ever noticed how much fun people watching can be?  You can have hours of fun just by watching people go about their daily lives.  Whether you prefer to watch in an airport, a restaurant, or a food court at the mall, people are always interacting with each other or displaying bizarre behavior.

Recently, I was sitting in the food court of my hometown shopping center, I began to observe all the interactions taking place before my eyes. Everyone was doing something different, but the one thing they all did the same was repeated over and over again – they all picked up all of their trash, walked to the trash can, and tossed it all in.  even though I witnessed many things that afternoon in the food court, when I left the biggest concern  I had was how much waste was being created.

Within the food court, there were a total of six restaurants.  Out of those six restaurants, all of them served their meals on paper plates and gave out plastic forks, plastic knives, and plastic spoons as their utensils.  They also offered their beverages in either paper or plastic cups or glass and plastic bottles.  At some points customers would drop their utensil and have to get another one or grab too many napkins and end up throwing away the extra.  Out of the 30 minutes I sat people watching, a lot of waste was being created.   With that said, I saw numerous opportunities for the customers to recycle their trash once they were done eating.  However, there was no place for those people to do so.

How can we change the way people dispose of their waste in these situations?  It is actually very simple! By creating your own entirely green work at home business you will not only be able to work from home, be your own boss, and make you own work schedule but with the right knowledge you will be able to help businesses save more through recycling.

A 4th Grader’s Perspective on Recycling: It’s all About Value

Friday, February 4th, 2011

Recently, it occurred to me recently that I typically write about recycling from a perspective that would appeal to either a young adult or an already established professional who might be ready for something new. However, those aren’t the only types of people living in our world. In order to make an impact we all need to participate in recycling.  Therefore, I thought that it was important to start reaching out to our younger generation.  Especially since they are the ones who will be most affected by our poor recycling and trash throwing habits in the future!

When I decided to have a friend ask her fourth grade students to describe their thoughts on recycling and why it is important, some of the responses I received were…

- “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle…Recycle and save the planet.  Think green!”

-  “I think recycling is really important.  Recycling can change our world.  You can pick up litter or go around your neighborhood for their used paper, metal, fabric, and plastic products they don’t need any more.  Then you can bring them to a local recycling center near you.  By recycling you are making our plant green.”

- “Recycling is important because it helps our community, environment, and animals.”

- “Recycling is an awesome way to help the environment!  There is a really awesome ways to recycle such as making a boat out of bottles or making a jump rope with bottle cap handles.”

So you see, while fourth graders might not be concerned with the business opportunity in recycling – they’re clearly aware that recycling has tremendous value. As much fun as making a jump rope out of bottle caps sounds, a way that YOU could help the future of our children is just as simple! Why not create your own entirely green business opportunity?

With your very own green work at home business, you will have the opportunity to teach business of every size and from every industry the importance of recycling and how it can save them money in the long run.  Additionally, it goes to show that there is a lot of value in recycling that goes unnoticed.  In the end, sometimes it takes a child’s perspective to make us look at the bigger picture.  So in the words of a fourth grader, “Which path will you choose? I recommend the green path!”

Make Good on Your Resolutions: Make a Work at Home Career Change!

Friday, January 28th, 2011

The first month of the New Year is gone and we have to ask – what was your progress this month? Have you made good on your New Year’s Resolutions?  Are you going to the gym, eating better, or doing more of whatever it is you promised yourself  you’d do a mere 30 days ago?

Let’s be honest, it’s tough to follow up with those things – but it doesn’t have to be hard to meet your goals. Here’s an easy one: start a work at home business this year, without a hitch!

At the beginning of the month, you had to change your perspective when you thought, “What would I like to change about myself?” In the same
way, all it takes to start your own part time home based business is a small change in perspective. So ask yourself, how do you look at trash? You throw it away and don’t think anything more of it.

So what do you think businesses do? Most likely they throw their waste away just like anyone else. That’s where you can step in.
It’s as simple as this: Wasting waste is a waste! Have you ever thought about how much money is wrapped up in recycling? When something recyclable isn’t recycled, its value is – literally— gone forever.  Every month, businesses pay to haul their trash away. Chances are, what they’re throwing away is far more than just “trash”.

Truthfully, it has value. With that value, you can make a work from home career change that lets you set your own hours, all by helping businesses save with better recycling.
