It’s getting better all the time…

Friday, May 1st, 2009

So many business owners are forced to wonder, “How long can this last?” There’s always a certain level of uncertainty when it comes to running a business – that’s just one of the risks we all run. However, as the times continue to change, EWS will continue to train affiliates who can help businesses rise above and succeed.

With EWS affiliates helping businesses save through waste, one resource that is now available is the 7.22 billion dollars that will soon be pumped into EPA programs, which the government predicts will help to create 3 to 4 million jobs—many directly tied to green industries and recycling. While the money isn’t directly given to companies, the jobs it creates and the industries it reinforces will undoubtedly make an impact. As more jobs are created and more focus given to recycling, EWS affiliates simply have more opportunities and outlets to help their clients save as much money as they possibly can.

While rewarding, sometimes it isn’t easy finding new and more efficient ways to recycle waste. However, the resources available to EWS affiliates continue to open doors to new savings. What’s even better is the very fact that the importance of recycling is becoming even more apparent. With more money and manpower being devoted to better recycling, the resources available to EWS affiliates become even more numerous.

What does that mean? That means it’s easier for EWS affiliates to make savings; it means that clients save more money faster; and it means that everyone is better off in the end.

Networking with Trash

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009

So what’s all the fuss about social networking? What’s it even mean? A bunch of people get online, become friends, and……that’s it? For a lot of people the rapid changes in technology and communication are a bit overwhelming. To be honest, that area isn’t quite our specialty, but we can use it as an example.

Now, our version of networking isn’t quite like the one you’d find on facebook or myspace. There aren’t pictures of friendly faces, funny quotes, and interesting personal anecdotes. Instead, it’s a lot simpler. There’s a database and that’s it. You might be wondering, “What kind of networking is that?” Well for us, it’s the best kind. It’s profitable and it’s efficient, but when it comes down to it—the greatest part is that it’s one big list of trash.

earning six figures Networking with Trash waste management consulting business

“You’re kidding, right?” Some might say. But no, our network for materials exchange, while not exactly a ‘social’ network, is one of a kind. Even still, it can be compared to social networks in the way that it can effectively connect businesses with similar needs that might never have had the chance or opportunity to develop a professional relationship in the first place.

For example, there are undoubtedly hundreds of fans that have come together online through a connection to some sort of musician, artist, or product. However, on our end businesses come together for their mutual interests in plastic, metal, scrap wood, and more.

If businesses need it, we know where to find it. It’s just another one of the benefits that businesses get when they team up with EWS affiliates. So if networking with friends is so easy, why not do it through EWS with trash? Trust us. Networking is even better when you can make money doing it!

Recycle everything

Wednesday, March 18th, 2009

Every year the super bowl comes and reminds us how much money we spend on virtually everything. Before the game, consumers are coaxed into buying everything from new tv’s and entertainment centers to soda and beer. On an even greater level, during the game we are witness to one aspect of the Super Bowl that many viewers look forward to even more than the game itself, multi-million dollar Super Bowl commercials where viewers are convinced to buy things even more. Finally, when the game comes to a close, confetti is spread across the stadium and viewers across the country witness the celebration. In the end, the Super Bowl proves one key thing—we are consumers and producers.

The game taking place on the field has more in common with producing waste than you may think. Every play, formation, and scenario is fine tuned and expertly tweaked by the coaching staff. And how do they do it? By relying on old footage from past games. They recycle their performance and the products of their labor to make themselves a better team. They don’t win or lose and cast aside the details of what it took to get them there. Essentially, it’s like a business. Businesses, like athletic teams, must constantly evaluate what they’re doing right and what they’re doing wrong. When it comes to waste, a business can’t just make a product and disregard what went into the process. Like professional sports teams, they can maximize efficiency and capitalize on every opportunity to be better.

EWS affiliates can show them how the “means” they used to arrive at their “end” – no matter what the “end” is—can be recycled and taken advantage of. Like a football team “recycling” their performance on the field to come back stronger, businesses can literally recycle the materials they may cast aside as useless after they think they’ve served their purpose. Not only will this make them a more efficient company, but relying on EWS as a coach in these troubled economic times will help businesses be more competitive as well.

Bailout? What bailout?

Wednesday, January 14th, 2009

With all the talk about the economy and government bailouts, people in business for themselves are right to be a little concerned. They find themselves watching the news where they hear about corporate executives asking for help through the hard times and they can’t help but think, “Who’s going to bail me out?”

career change Bailout? What bailout? waste management consulting business

Environmental Waste Solutions has the answer to that question. More and more business owners are feeling the strain of the economy. In refusing to quit, they’re forced to change and adapt in order to make their business work. One way to make that change is to look differently at waste and EWS affiliates are helping businesses do it every day. It’s not a product they pay for and it’s not a gimmick, it’s a solution that they can profit from, and everyone involved is a winner.

EWS gives all businesses, large and small, the opportunity to bail themselves out, and it’s not hard. By streamlining waste management, businesses in just about every industry can save money that they never knew they could. In fact, because of the way EWS can give money back to companies, it’s almost as if they are simply making money instead of saving it. So many businesses have become so used to simply getting rid of their waste without any thought that it seems like their EWS affiliate is simply giving them free money, when in reality it was there for them to have all along, they just didn’t know quite where to look. By receiving the help that will turn their wasteful habits around, EWS affiliates give their client businesses some of the extra cash needed to push through tough financial times.

So instead of merely standing by and wondering, “What are to do?” Businesses can rely on EWS to help them find their own path to success—without having to cut costs, cut production, or spend any extra money.

What’s Going on?

Wednesday, December 17th, 2008

If you take a look at the headlines you’ll more than likely notice there will always be a story or two about the economy, the deficit, Wall Street, or a mixture of the three. For example, a short time ago The Wall Street Journal reported that Circuit City would be forced to “lay off thousands of employees” before ultimately declaring bankruptcy. Also, Nortel posted its biggest loss since 2001, forcing the company to lay off workers and executives alike. More recently, The Associated press reported that foreclosures have tripled in Hawaii, creating a rift in the economy that could take years to mend. While all of these stories are different, they all have one thing in common—things aren’t exactly easy.

Even still, Environmental Waste Solutions has proven that things can be easier. By stepping back and looking at things from a different perspective, EWS affiliates have had the opportunity to make more money, more reliably than they ever have before. What’s even more significant is the fact that despite the obstacles the economy has provided, EWS affiliates continue to earn more than ever.

By scrutinizing waste streams for businesses across the country, EWS affiliates help their clients rise above the depressing headlines. They provide that extra boost that’s could never be more necessary. At the same time, with all the challenges that businesses are facing these days, EWS affiliates are finding more clients every day. The beauty of the arrangement is that clients have the potential to save thousands and EWS affiliates are profiting from a portion of those savings. The partnership between affiliate and client is the perfect business relationship, and nobody is at a loss. In fact, when it comes down to it, “Everyone wins”.

How’s that for a headline?

Don’t let anything slip through the cracks

Monday, October 27th, 2008

If you open the newspaper on any particular day you’ll be welcomed to a world of facts, figures, and insights that always seem to have a way of getting lost in the mix. work from home mom ews Don’t let anything slip through the cracks waste management consulting business We can’t remember them all. By observing what’s going on—such as by reading the newspaper or watching the nightly news, we take in a lot. More often than not, we take in so much every day that it becomes virtually impossible to keep track of it all.

When it comes down to it, we live in a world where our countless concerns can quickly become growing sources of anxiety and worry. As the list of things to remember continues to grow, it becomes increasingly harder to manage them. Many of us have had the experience of forgetting to pack something for vacation. No matter how much order you think there is when you pack your belongings into suitcases and carry them any number of miles, something always manages to get misplaced or forgotten. As the pile of concerns gets bigger and bigger, it always seems to become easier to let the little things fall through the cracks. We’ve all forgotten things, and too often it’s the little things we tend to forget that always seem to become an annoying problem. It’s the same for waste. Businesses that allow inefficient waste management go unnoticed end up paying in the long run.

The very fact that we can’t keep track of everything is one simple reason why EWS exists. We are the safety net that ensures that businesses don’t suffer from the simple fact that things do get a bit overwhelming. Waste is easy to forget, especially when businesses have other things to worry about. When a business owner or manager is nearly overwhelmed by the inevitable concerns that confront us every day, there’s nothing more refreshing than a helping hand. What we offer is free and what’s even better is the fact that it’s even easier to sell. EWS helps businesses keep up with the constant flow of worry and concern, and in our case—the only possible outcome is a positive one. Whether the benefit is a greener company or a more efficient one, EWS affiliates can help make a difference.
