“Forests: Nature at your Service”: A Perspective on GREEN

Sunday, June 5th, 2011

June 5th is World Environment Day.  This specific day was first established one June 5, 1973 in order to stimulate awareness of the environment around the world.  Each year a different country is chosen to host this annual celebration with a specific theme.  This year, India was chosen to be the host country with the theme “Forest: Nature at your Service”.  The significance of each of these events is to emphasize how each of our individual actions has an exponential impact on the world around us.  Thought of in a business context, this sentiment couldn’t be truer.

We all do our best to go green in some aspects of our lives, but for some it is not as easy.  By starting your own entirely green ‘at home’ business, you could be the one who helps those take that extra green step.  Now I understand that starting your own business sounds overwhelming.  But with the help of Environment Waste Solutions, you will have guidance every step of the way.

As an Environmental Waste Solutions affiliate you get all the benefits of being backed by the leader in a truly green revolution as well as the perks of being your own boss. Over the years, EWS affiliates have had the opportunity to help businesses across the country implement initiatives that have saved money and made communities greener, all on their own. By giving you the knowledge to help other businesses save on the waste they toss out on a daily basis, you can do the same.

Businesses are focused on making a profit and cutting expenses where they see fit.  However, in the process of doing this they often overlook the fact that they could be saving money through waste disposal and recycling. Just as World Environment Day stresses the impact a single person can make, EWS does the very same. You can be the deciding factor in a change that influences a business to go green and save more, instead of cutting a position or scaling back production.

Ever wished you could make a difference with your career? On June 5th, think about how you could make a change in our world by starting your own home business.  Not only will have the option to work full time or part time and be your own boss, but you will be able to make a profit by showing other businesses the green money saving initiatives that they are missing out on.

Observations in a Coffee Shop: The Mindset to Be Your Own Boss

Tuesday, March 15th, 2011

I think we can all agree that it has been a very cold past few months throughout the country.  So if you are like me, you have probably spent more than enough time and money on hot coffee hoping to get through the freezing weather and strong winds.

work at home1 231x300 Observations in a Coffee Shop: The Mindset to Be Your Own Boss green business opportunity

Sit in a coffee shop and see how much people waste. You'll be amazed!

While I was enjoying my morning coffee, I realized that once I finished my drink, it was just going to become waste rather than turned into something useful.  However, when I looked around me, I was not the only one that was producing waste.  In fact, more than 20 people were sending their plastic and paper cups, plastic forks, knives, spoons, and paper plates into the trash.  But what companies, restaurants, and cafes don’t realize is that by allowing their customers to throw away their recyclable trash, they are throwing money away.  That money could have been put back into their pockets but now it is just going into the garbage where it is, literally and figuratively, turned into waste

I’m not saying those businesses should make their customers take their trash with them by any stretch. What I  am suggesting is that  you could be the solution for one of the least cost efficient aspects of business in every industry. By creating your own entirely green business not only will you have the opportunity to be your own boss, work from your own home, and make your own work schedule, but you will also be helping other businesses save more through recycling.

So the next time you’re sitting at your desk, wondering if you have time to fit an afternoon coffee break into your schedule, think about the opportunity you have to make your own work hours and make a difference in our environment with a 100% green work at home business opportunity

March = Green: Green = Profitable

Thursday, March 10th, 2011

When you think of the month of March, what color do you think of?  For those of you born in March, you may think of your light blue birthstone.  Others may think about the colors purple, red, yellow, or pink-all colors of the flowers that will soon be blooming all around us.  Then again, you might also think about brown –  because we all know that once all of the snow we have gotten over the wintery months begins to melt, we are going to be stuck with an overwhelming amount of mud.  However, what about the color green?

In fact green is everywhere during the month of March.  For instance, once everything starts to bloom and the mud washes away, we are left with a bright, green  all around us.  Not only will  trees and grass give us plenty of green, but Saint Patricks day on March 17th, is a holiday that is covered in green as well. You’ll see green parades, green decorations, and sometimes even entire rivers that have been died green.

But underneath it all, Saint Patrick’s Day and our blossoming surroundings are not the only things during March that need to be green.  For instance, creating your own entirely green business opportunity gives you the chance to be your own boss, work at home,  decide who you work with, and what hours you work.

By establishing your own eco-friendly business you will be able to profit on thing you can always count on being around you, waste.  Trash no longer has to be viewed  as annoying, smelly, and disguising.  But with the right tools and knowledge, you will be able to see trash as profitable and desirable (Go figure!).   So the next time someone comments on how brown their surrounding seems, don’t be too quick to agree with them.  Instead think of how you can make your environment greener a little faster by starting your own entirely green work at home business.

Go Green and Earn More Washingtons

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011

Did you know that today is George Washington’s birthday?  Not only  was he our nation’s first president, but he was also a dominant military leader during the Revolutionary War who helped draft the Constitution in 1787.  Now, you are probably thinking learned these fast-facts about George Washington in grade school, but what could George Washington possibly have to do with recycling?

work at home be your own boss 300x198 Go Green and Earn More Washingtons home business opportunity green business opportunity

Work at home, be your own boss, and earn some more of these!

Trash is everywhere.  No matter where you turn or look, a piece of trash can be found on the sides of the street, the highway, or even your own home!  In fact, it is beginning to look like a war zone out there with the amount of waste we are producing on a daily basis.  However, you too can be a leader like George Washington and help fight the war against trash.  By starting a green work at home business, you will have the ability to be your own boss , establish you own work schedule, and put more Washington’s (maybe even some Benjamin’s) back into your wallet.

By helping other businesses realize the amount of waste they producing, they will have the opportunity to save more while you earn more with your own work at home business opportunity.  So the next time you hear someone mention that it is George Washington’s Birthday, don’t think of it just another federal holiday that we celebrate.  But think of it as a new way where you can become a leader in the waste war by creating a new at home business opportunity where you will have the chance to put more Washington’s into your pocket.

Welcome to February! How Close are You to a Work at Home Business?

Tuesday, February 1st, 2011

It has now been 2 months into the New Year.  So now it is time to be honest with yourself, how are your promises you made to yourself coming?  Have you established a daily workout routine? Or created a system for saving money? Have you begun that weight loss program yet? It’s ok if you haven’t gotten your new gym membership, gone to the bank, or visited your doctor for weight loss advice.  But there is one goal that you can promise yourself that you will be able to complete by the end of 2011-being more successful by becoming your own boss.

Creating a successful work at home business is not as hard you may think! In fact, you already have all the tools you need in order to make 2011 your year of achievement.  Now, what if I told you that by the end of the year you could become your own boss, make your own work schedule, and  have the ability to choose who works for you, would you believe me?

What if I told you that the item that will make your successful year possible is trash?  Think about it though, trash is the only thing that you can always count on being there no matter where you are or what time of the day it is.  Walk down the street and you’ll find trash, or go on a hike in the middle of the woods, and chances are you’ll find trash there as well.

By creating your own entirely green business , not only will you be able to work from  home and be your own boss but you will help other companies save money while recycling. So next time you’re having trouble succeeding in this year’s resolutions, consider focusing instead on establishing your own work at home business and make 2011 your best year yet!

How to start a work from home business

Thursday, January 13th, 2011

What does the perfect job description sound like?

“Create your own hours”
“Work from home”
“Earn more money”
“Be your own boss”

Check, check, check and check!

Have you ever wondered how you can start your very own work from home business? It really isn’t as hard as you might think. Despite what you may think, you don’t have to worry about finding an office space, hiring pesky employees, or buying thousands worth of new equipment. All it takes is everything you probably already have, a simple home office, a working computer, and the will to be your own boss.
The best part is not only do you already have almost all it takes to take advantage of a work at home career change, but the product you’ll be selling is all around you, waiting to be capitalized on: trash. With the right training you will begin to realize how much businesses are wasting when it comes to their waste, and how much they can be saving when it comes to their recycling.  It’s all about seeing the value in waste that too often gets thrown away, recycling that untapped “value” and creating savings.

It’s all a part of a low overhead business opportunity that’s been under your nose all along. After all, businesses everywhere are trying to save — and a business opportunity where everyone wins is the perfect solution for a profitable work at home business.  You help businesses, you help yourself, and you help the environment in the process.

It’s the job description of a lifetime: work when you want, be your own boss, and work from home.  The only tool you’re missing is the inside knowledge of the recycling industry, but you can get it. Learn more! www.environmental-waste.com

Where’s Your Good Will? Give back with a Green Business Opportunity

Sunday, December 26th, 2010

It’s the day after Christmas, but apart from being “the day after” Christmas, it’s also called the “Day of Good Will”. Why do you think that is? Maybe December 26th is called “The Day of Good Will” because we all tend to feel just a little more grateful than we did a week ago and  slightly more likely to give someone a helping hand.  But the question is – why for just a day?.

We might not be able to give back every day to show that good will, it just isn’t feasible (and that’s ok!). But what if you did have a way to give back every day, and what if it was right under your nose all along?

Trash, waste, and recycling give you a foolproof way to continue giving back far beyond both Christmas and the Day of Good Will. It all comes down to helping businesses recycle better. With the right knowledge, you can tell a business “I can save you 100 dollars a month on your recycling” or “I can save you 500 dollars a month on your recycling” – either way, with the right knowledge, you can help businesses save. It costs them nothing out of pocket, and you make a portion of the savings.

How does that give back?

1)    It helps businesses save, enabling them to both weather a challenging economy and contribute to a better economy.
2)    It allows you to earn more, with a green business opportunity that lets you be your own boss.
3)    You get to run a home business with no overhead
4)    By enabling businesses to recycle more effectively, you help them make a greater impact on the environment by making less of an impact on the environment.

In these 4 ways (and there could be many more) you can give back every day, all through a green business opportunity that lets you work in your pajamas.

How to Make a Living with Trash

Tuesday, December 14th, 2010

You can make a business AND a difference with a green business opportunity.

Did you know that you can make a living by depending solely on trash and recycling?

Well, maybe that’s oversimplifying it a bit – but I can assure you that when I say you can “make a living with trash” you will not be living out of dumpsters and you will not be homeless.  Rather, what you will be doing is using waste to the fullest, making the most of recycling, and making money in the process.

Here’s why:

1.  Waste is anything but.
When it comes to sheer value, “waste” is anything but “waste”. Have you ever looked around at the many things you use or come into contact with every day that are comprised of entirely recycled products? Make a point to take a closer look. You’ll be surprised!

2.  Businesses want to save money.
Have you ever known a business that didn’t want to cut costs? Times are harder than ever for businesses, and everyone’s looking to cut costs without cutting jobs. Waste and recycling can be the answer, and you can be the solution with an entirely green business opportunity.

3. The possibilities of recycling continue to grow.
Have you ever marveled at the rate that technology continues to move? That growth applies to recycling as well. Over the years recycling technology has gotten better and better, making recycling even more profitable and beneficial for the environment.

4.  Waste and recycling are here to stay.
Do you foresee a day where there will be no such thing as trash? No way! We make trash every day, so you might as well find a way to capitalize on it. By turning to recycling, you can help businesses save money and make a positive impact on the environment with a work at home business opportunity that’s 100% green.

Waste doesn’t have to be waste – so why not make a difference with it?

Business Waste, Where Does it Go?

Saturday, November 27th, 2010

No matter what type of business they do, every business creates waste. But what happens to it?

Imagine a manufacturing plant. Pieces of metal are zipping by on conveyor belts, sparks are flying, workers are inspecting products, and meanwhile – there’s a handcart piled high with unused materials, destined to go to waste.

Or picture an office complex. Employees are diligently going about their day, the printer hums, and throughout the day the trashcans fill with miscellaneous bits of paper, snack wrappers, water bottles, and soda cans.  These things too often go to waste.

Without recycling, waste – no matter what it is – gets tossed into a dumpster, emptied into a truck and hauled away. It is condemned to always be waste and nothing more.

With recycling, the life of waste is extended. To get a little too dramatic – it is reborn as something new, something valuable, and something that is anything but waste.

In many ways, it can also be much less expensive than simply hauling waste away to be forgotten. This way, the businesses doing the recycling saves money. The environment takes less of a hit, and the independent waste consultant cashes in on a green work at home business opportunity that truly makes a difference.

By helping businesses save money through recycling, you help them create value out of what was once only waste. At the same time, you create a green business opportunity for yourself where you can be your own boss, with no employees, no overhead, and no hassles.

What can waste do for you?  (Sound familiar?)

Welcome to November, and Realize a Great Green Business Opportunity

Tuesday, November 16th, 2010

Getting cold yet?  So October’s over, and there’s a good chance that you’re seeing more and more leaves on the ground. If you haven’t been raking, there’s a chance that leaves are all you see on the ground. But what does that mean? In the past, we’ve compared those very leaves to a green business opportunity. They fall down and you rake them up. But what do you do with them?

Actually, you could do a few things with fallen leaves, here are some suggestions:

•    The first thing you could do is jump in them – and don’t let anyone tell you that there’s no value in that.
•    The second thing you could do is burn them. But why do that? Sure, it gets rid of the problem, but that’s it. All you’re left with is a haze of harsh smoke and a smoldering pile of ashes
•    The third thing is by far the best thing. You could gather the leaves and compost them, eliminating your problem and leaving you with better soil next time you want to plant something.

We’ve mentioned it before, but it’s worth mentioning again. The leaves you see falling from the trees signal more than just the fact that the seasons are changing, but that green business opportunities are everywhere.

Just like leaves can be of value as compost, trash can be transformed into extremely valuable savings for a business. With the right knowledge, just like you could compost leaves, you can approach a business offer them savings, and earn part of what’s saved.

It’s just another benefit of changing your perspective on the things we too often see as waste, and not as what they can be – a green business opportunity that lets you be your own boss.
