Fall into Recycling by Starting Your Own Business

Tuesday, September 20th, 2011

For those of you that aren’t good with dates, September 22nd marks the beginning of fall.  For me, this is the start of my favorite time of the year.  At this point of the year, people are able to enjoy the beauty of what is around them. First, the trees are punctuated by fall colors slowly bleeding into their leaves, changing from green to vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows. Later we are able to spend time with family and friends picking apples and drinking cider. In October, we have the opportunity to go on the hunt for the biggest pumpkin in the patch.  Finally (and my personal favorite) my home surfing break is completely devoid of tourists.fall into a green business opportunity 300x225 Fall into Recycling by Starting Your Own Business waste management consulting business green business opportunity green business

While I am a huge fan of all of the above, one of my favorite things to do in the fall season is going on long hikes.  It is something about the crisp air and the beauty of the surrounding environment that constantly draws me to the mountains year after year.  However, sometimes we are not always fortunate enough to take part in these fall festivities because of either prior commitments or our busy work schedules.  If your career path is holding you back on partaking in this autumn season, I have an exciting opportunity for you to not only enjoy the outdoors, but to help protect it at the same time!

By starting your own environmentally friendly business, not only will you be able to work from the comfort of your own home, be your own boss, and create your own work schedule, but you will be able to help other businesses implement a waste disposal plan that will save them money and keep our environment clean so that we will all be able to enjoy the outdoors year after year.

So the next time you are unable to go on a hayride or hike up a mountain when a family member or friend asks you because of work, think of how a work at home career change could help! It really can be easier than you think.

Running Your Way into Your Own Environmentally Friendly Business!

Thursday, September 15th, 2011

I was recently on one of my favorite running paths last night after dinner.  With the humidity gone, the sun setting, and the picturesque mountains in full view, this run was nearly perfect.  However, my  run was quickly interrupted when every time I looked at the ground, there was trash!  It was everywhere! When I looked to my right and then to my left, there laying on the side of the road and into the woods were aluminum cans, cigarette butts, old ripped up tarps and the list goes on! In fact, I even saw a diaper. Now I understand that putting trash cans along the back roads won’t be the answer to this particular problem.  However, having businesses provide their customers with more ways to dispose of their day to day waste will provide people the opportunity to throw away their trash when needed.

In fact, you could be the answer to this ongoing problem!  By starting your own green business and becoming an affiliate with Environmental Waste Solutions, you will equip yourself with the tools and knowledge to start your very own successful business.

Think about it, trash is everywhere! At your home, where you work, and everywhere you visit throughout the day trash is being created. However, what most don’t take into consideration is that the waste we create is not being disposed properly most of the time.  But with your help, you will have the ability to help other businesses implement an effective recycling plan, clean up their waste stream, and reduce their waste disposal costs at the same time…meaning significant savings for them and a reliable residual income for you at the same time!

So the next time you are running, biking, walking, or simply enjoying the outdoors around you, take notice at the amount of trash in your surrounding area.  If it is a problem, you could be the one to fix it by starting your own at home business!

Jamming Your Way into Recycling and Owning Your Own Business!

Tuesday, September 13th, 2011

When you see a stage covered with clay flowerpots, a washtub, an old futon frame, circular saw blades, a cast iron skillet, and many more unwanted items, you are probably not thinking of music.  In fact, you are probably thinking there is going to be an auction that you may not have any interest in attending, that is unless you have some strange proclivity for random junk. Well, I am sorry to inform you, but these items are in fact used for music and one musical group in particular found inspiration from these unwanted items and are on their way to making some pretty sweet tunes.

A New York based group named Electric Junkyard Gamelan has been performing together in various configurations since 1998 and have since released 3 albums.  However this recycling savvy group are not the only ones that can make a profit from items like these!

Sure, maybe you’re not musically talented but if you have an eye for detail and the motivation to succeed, you too can create your own home business – all thanks to trash. By creating your own at home business, you will have the ability to help other companies find useful and effective ways to not only reduce waste disposal costs but to also discover alternative methods to discard their trash properly. In doing so, you’ll earn half of what those businesses save – and the satisfaction of being your own boss.

I understand that starting your own business sounds overwhelming, but with the help of Environmental Waste Solutions, you will have access to a constantly improved 30 step process which will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to help other companies reduce costs associated with waste disposal and transform their business into a more environmentally friendly one.

So the next time you turn on your radio and listen to your favorite band, think of how Electric Junkyard Gamelan was able to make a profit by playing with junk.  You too could be putting more money into your pocket by creating your own at home business!

Working with Trash Can be a Positive Aspect in Your Life! It can Even Make You Your Own Boss

Thursday, September 8th, 2011

When taking a deeper look into the realm of recycling, many believe there are both pros and cons on this issue.  For instances, many perceive recycling as a positive simply because it helps lower the cost of materials that are made from recycled items, it creates jobs, saves energy and water, preserves the environment, and it reduces green house emissions.  However, even though many see recycling as a positive influence on our environment, some deem it to have a negative effect in today’s society.

According to Livestrong.com some of the cons of recycling are contamination, high costs of collecting and processing recyclable items, pollutants are being produced from “the fuel burned by trucks collecting recyclables, as well as the energy and water expended during processing”, and finally, “the goods being collected for recycling are not always of the same quality and may not be sorted properly”

However, as there are some cons of recycling, there are many more benefits to recycling that make it a positive aspect in our daily lives.  In addition to protecting the environment, recycling can also play a very important and positive role in your life.  By starting you own eco-friendly business, you will have the proper tools and skills to guide other businesses, large and small, in to a greener lifestyle and significantly reduce their waste disposal costs.

Let’s face it. Every business would like to enhance their bottom line. Nobody want’s to spend more than they have to on things like water, heat, and electricity. In the same way, waste disposal costs have become a “given” where the status quo is to simple spend what you’re told to spend when it comes to disposal costs. Well that doesn’t have to be the case.  With the right training and knowledge, you can help businesses save, potentially cutting thousands of dollars every month (half of which you keep for yourself!).

Moreover, with environmental laws requiring companies to dispose their waste properly, companies are always in search for guidance and an effective plan to help them accomplish this task.  Therefore, you will always have opportunities for more work.

So the next time you begin to think about the pros and cons of recycling, think about how the pros definitely out way the cons, especially in the sense that it will offer you a successful work at home job opportunity!

Bouncing Back with a New Career Change That Lets You Be Your Own Boss!

Tuesday, September 6th, 2011

It seemed that every time I turned on the morning news during the month of August, there was a continuous announcement regarding another drop in the stock market.  When something like this happens, people stop spending money, investors stop investing, and people throughout the country begin to panic. According to CNBC, the S&P (Standard & Poor’s) 500 may plunge again or bounce back.  “Although the S&P 500 has fallen almost 170 points this month to close at 1,777 on Wednesday one strategist thinks it could drop further- while another thinks the index could bounce back by the end of the year.”  Even if the market continues to lean towards an unwanted double dip or makes a much wanted come back, people are going to continue to be on edge and may result in the loss of their job. bounce into a owrk at home business 225x300 Bouncing Back with a New Career Change That Lets You Be Your Own Boss! green business be your own boss green business opportunity

If you are somebody who is worried about being laid off because of the rocky economy, I have a suggestion: trash. By taking advantage of trash, or more specifically – recycling – you can create a 100% green work at home business that’s entirely recession proof. The best part of this opportunity is you will be working with materials that you can always count on being available, even in an unstable job market. No matter what the market is like, you can always count on one commodity being around: Trahs. Yes, trash is a commodity! That smelly, annoying stuff we are constantly trying to get rid of is now going to be your main source of income.

Companies are always looking for effective and creative ways to dispose of their waste and reduce the cost to do so.  Therefore, by starting your own business (that’s green!) you will have the skills, tools, and knowledge to guide other businesses, large and small, to streamline their business waste streams and save money in the long run. In doing so, you earn half of what they save – leaving you with the potential for a substantial residual income.

So the next time you turn on the morning news and are listening to the latest announcement regarding the stock market, don’t become alarmed.  By starting your own business you will be able to guarantee yourself a recession proof income!

Helping Schools Save More by Owning Your Own Company!

Wednesday, August 31st, 2011

Last week you leaned how cutting back on water and energy were two major ways that some school’s across the country have saved thousands of dollars.  However, these days using less water and shutting off the lights have – for the most part – become simple common sense. Another key way that schools could save even more money is by recycling their day to day waste. Unfortunately, while many schools are making a point to conserve more energy and water – they still end up wasting when it comes to their actual waste.

Schools are one major place waste is happening every day.

Like most businesses, schools may have the desire to go green but with the lack of knowledge, time, or resources they are unable to do so.  Now this is where you come into the picture!  By becoming an affiliate of Environmental Waste Solutions, you will have the opportunity, skills, and support necessary to start your own successful eco-friendly business.  I understand that starting your own business seems extreme, especially in today’s economy, but Environmental Waste Solutions has seen a 25% growth despite the recent recession and continues to grow today.  Therefore, while helping school save on waste disposal, you have the ability to take full advantage of a recession proof business.

With that said, I now want you to think about how much recyclable products are used within a school on a daily basis.  Paper, plastic, aluminum, and Styrofoam are amongst the few recyclable items that get used throughout the day and in most cases, are not being recycled properly.  Therefore, schools are casually tossing away the money that could be used in vital areas.

Just like cutting costs on energy and water allow schools to invest in more productive areas, optimizing waste streams will help schools in the very same way. By helping schools cut costs on waste, you help them save more for extra supplies, field trips, and much needed building improvements –all things that could be affecting the way your students performs this academic year.

Moreover, not only will owning your own green business benefit the students, but by being your own boss, you will now have the ability to attend more Parent-Teacher Conferences, soccer games, school plays, and other school activities we all often miss due to our hectic work schedules.

Therefore, as you are getting your child ready for the new school year, think of how you could make it a more successful by starting a work at home business that’s green!  But keep in mind, it doesn’t have to be a school. Every organization has waste, and every organization could stand to have more money available for the critical investments they’d like to make. No matter what or where the organization is, you could be the answer.

Own Your Own Eco-friendly Business and Get the A+ You Deserve

Sunday, August 28th, 2011

August is a very busy month!  Summer vacation is coming to an end, everyone is trying to fit in vacation time with loved ones, and trying to accomplish those last minute outdoor activities before summer comes to an end.  However, with summer vacation officially almost over, that means only one thing…back to school!  As most kids are dreading the end of their 3 month vacation, parents are jumping up and down for joy.  However, there is still a lot to do before the first day of school, such as, supplies and clothes shopping and much needed haircuts.  But as we are all busy gathering everything on our lists for our children to have another successful school year, we often over look a major detail…is your child’s school environmentally friendly?school2 300x185 Own Your Own Eco friendly Business and Get the A+ You Deserve green business opportunity green business going green green business

This may seem like an absurd question to ask but recycling can play an important role in how your child performs in the classroom.  “According to the U.S. Green Building Council, green schools, on average, use 33 percent less energy and 32 percent less water.” For example, Great Seneca Creek Elementary in Germantown, MD “skims about $60,000 off its annual energy bill and conserves about 43 percent—or 360,000 gallons—of water each year.”  Today, some 50 schools across the United States are turning green and have seen improvements environmentally, academically, financially, and health wise which have been impossible to ignore.

As you can see, conserving energy and water throughout the year can save the school thousands of dollars, and you know what that means – more money for vital supplies. When schools save money on things like water and energy, teacher jobs are safer, books are kept current, facilities are kept in shape, and everyone benefits. However, water and energy are not the only ways that schools can cut back.  What do teachers and students use every day? Pencils, books, food items, paper, paper, paper, and more paper! All day, schools are rapidly using and throwing away things that can be recycled instead! By recycling the material items that both teachers and students use throughout the year, schools will be able to cut back on waste disposal costs and provide even more of a financial boost that they so desperately need.

Check back next week to see how starting your own entirely green business opportunity could help your local schools save more and be environmentally friendly at the same time!

Are You Happy? Why Not Become Your Own Boss!

Saturday, August 27th, 2011

Someone just recently told me that August is “Admit You are Happy” month.  I think that this is a very appropriate holiday for any month, I mean how often do we ask ourselves “am I truly happy where my life has taken me?” “Did I make the right career choice?” “Have I accomplished most of the goals I set for myself?”

These are all aspects in our lives that we tend to forget about because of the craziness of our day-to-day schedules. Therefore, in celebration of this holiday, I want you to ask yourself, “Am I truly happy?” “Have I picked a career choice that makes me excited when I get up in the morning?”  If your answers to those questions were disappointing, maybe you should consider a career change?  On the other hand, what about starting your own business?

I understand that starting your own business sounds stressful and may cause you some unhappiness in your life, but what if I told you that you would be capitalizing on the one thing you can always count on being around…TRASH!  Yes, that annoying and infuriating thing we are always trying to get rid of will in fact help you earn a six figure recession proof income!

Think about it, trash is ALWAYS around and people are constantly looking for ways to get rid of it, especially businesses. With the right tools and skills, you will have the knowledge to help businesses (large or small) dispose of their waste properly and reduce their waste disposal spending.

So the next time you are battling with your alarm clock because you are dreading the work day ahead, think about how you could bring some more happiness into your morning routine and be your own boss with an entirely green business.  Not only will you be your own boss and have the ability to work from the comfort of your own home, but you will be helping others become more environmentally friendly!

The Newest Trends in Retail-And You Could be a Part of it by Owning Your Own Business!

Thursday, August 18th, 2011

I recently went to a store to purchase my nephew some back to school clothing.  After we spent some time trying things on and deciding what he liked and didn’t, we went over to the cashier to purchase the items.  It was there that I was amazed at the store’s zero waste initiatives.  The cashier asked me if I would like to have my receipt emailed to me rather than have it printed out and placed into my wallet where it would never been seen again.

In fact, according to Indystar.com, emailing customers their receipt has become the newest trend in retail; “An increasing number of retailers are offering to send receipts by email, touting it as a convenient, environmentally friendly alternative to paper receipts. Gone, they say, are the days of digging through your purse or wallet looking for that crumpled slip of paper.” Moreover, “emailed receipts will contain offers for consumers to receive coupons and other deals from retailers in the near future.”  It is a win-win situation. Not only are customers being rewarded for being eco-friendly but the retailer also saves money on non-wasted paper.

However, not all stores or business have caught onto the trend of implementing zero waste initiatives.  Here is where you come into the picture, by starting your own entirely green home business, you will have the ability to guide other businesses in reducing their waste disposal expenses, while becoming eco-friendly at the same time!

So the next time you are at a store and are offered to have your receipt emailed to you, not only say “yes” but also think of how you could be the owner of your own work at home business while helping other businesses become more eco-friendly by helping to move along the trend.

Cleaning up the Cities We Love by Starting Your Own at Home Business

Tuesday, August 16th, 2011

I was recently in Burlington, VT visiting some friends for the weekend.  It was great to catch up with people that I haven’t seen in months and to walk around one of my favorite cities in New England.  What I love most about Burlington is Church Street.  For those of you who are not familiar with the area, Church Street is an area that is closed off to all vehicles and filled with various types of shops, restaurants and of course the city’s number one fixture — Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream shops.

One of the first things that I noticed while we were walking around Church Street was how recycling was easily made available to the people.  Next to every trashcan was a recycling bin and once you walked into most cafes and smaller restaurants, recycling bins were easily accessible.  I was impressed with how eco-friendly Vermont is.  Which got me thinking, what if other major cities and towns approached recycling as Vermont does.

Now, I understand that Vermont is known for being a very green state, however, other cities might want to take notes on how they too could become as eco-friendly.  Better yet, you could be the solution to the problem other states and businesses have with waste disposal.

In fact, most companies are looking for ways to implement zero waste initiatives, but due to lack of knowledge and resources they are unable to do so.  But by starting you own entirely green business, not only will you be your own boss, but you will have the tools and knowledge to assist local businesses reduce costs on waste disposal, while putting more money in your pocket.

So the next time you visit your favorite city or town, look around.  Do they have proper an eco-friendly waste disposal system?  If not, you could be the change they are looking for with a new business opportunity.
