In a Labor Daze? Get Out With a Green Business Opportunity

labor day 300x200 In a Labor Daze? Get Out With a Green Business Opportunity business recycling recycling

Labor Day - A perfect example of why you need a work at home business.

So, yesterday was   Labor Day. Did you have it off? Maybe you did and maybe you didn’t – but the question begs asking, “are you in a labor daze?” Do you go to work day and day out only to sit down at night and wonder, “what am I accomplishing?”  Maybe a change of career is what you need.

Years ago (more than I can even count), I felt the same exact way. I was tired of work work work, without the payoff that I was looking for, and I figured that the only way to truly get everything I put into my work would be to be my own boss.

I tried making it in one business – it didn’t work and I tried making it in another – it didn’t pay off. But finally I looked around. I saw all the trash that gets hauled away and realized that businesses waste money every day when it comes to business waste such as unused materials, common recyclables, and industrial waste.

I had it – not only a business opportunity that works, but a green business opportunity that helped businesses recycle and save money. Every business creates waste, every business wants to save money, and by earning half of what each business saved on the cost of their waste – they paid nothing out of pocket. It was a win-win for everyone.

Have you succeeded with a work at home business? Or maybe you’ve started a similar green business. Share your stories in the comments, and maybe we’ll delve deeper into what you have to say in a future post.

August is for Beginnings: Start Anew with a New Business Opportunity

Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010

Welcome to August! The “Harvest” month, the “Month of the Sickle”, the month when we start to think about the end of summer, and the month we start to see children and loved ones off to school.  August is full of many beginnings and endings – for everyone, why can’t it be an opportunity to reflect on yourself?

There were most likely the days that you looked forward to your very own new beginnings. The start of a new school year, a new career, a nice promotion, and maybe more. Do you ever feel that your milestones are now fewer and far between?  Perhaps it’s time to start making your own beginnings.

One way to create a new beginning for yourself is to start a home business. Being a business owner doesn’t have to be as toilsome and time consuming as you may think. You can live your life and work at home while making money you didn’t know you could. This is where an opportunity like ours comes in. For the EWS affiliates reading, you know what we’re talking about. But if you haven’t taken the leap and started your own home business – counting on trash can be one of the most profitable choices you can make.

You read it right: Trash

Every day, people throw away more and more that can be recycled, and with the speed that recycling is becoming more advanced – the magnitude of what can be recycled and reused is growing every day. That means that more of the trash that gets thrown away is actually trash that can be saved.

There’s no point in going on and on about it, because it’s really this simple: Businesses save more money recycling. By helping business recycle, you can earn more. Why not give it a shot? Make a new beginning for yourself.

Taking Full Advantage of Everything: The Business Opportunity in the Environment

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

Recently, a friend and I took a trip to an environmental center not too far away. Upon pulling into the driveway for the place which labeled itself a conservation center, there was really nothing out of the ordinary about it. It was a big brown building, with a gravel parking lot, surrounded by trees. Pretty plain.

green business opportunity

Widen your perspective, profit, and work at home -- all with recycling better.

However, as we entered the building – that’s when everything changed. First, one of us noticed the bathrooms. Instead of regular toilets with pipes full of water leading away from the building, each toilet had a single hole – and it’s a stretch not to refer to them as indoor outhouses. Outside the bathrooms was a sign explaining that the bathrooms helped provide energy for the whole building. Under that sign was a trashcan with an empty bottom—it leads to a furnace. That’s right – they burned it for energy.

Next, we noticed these huge large columns of water reaching from floor to ceiling, spaced throughout the main hall. According to someone working there – they were used to make heating and cooling the building more efficient.

Our minds were officially blown. Never before had I seen a business make the absolute most of virtually every aspect of their business. They had completely minimized business waste and converted it into value wherever possible. It was the perfect example for someone taking advantage of a work at home business such as that of a business waste consultant.

Looking at one business that can completely streamline almost all of their business waste, the possibilities are more than just encouraging.  If businesses can emulate that one business to even the smallest degree – the amount of savings would be tremendous. If the recycling programs aren’t in place – all it takes is a little creativity, and it doesn’t even need to be that complicated. I’m not saying convert your toilets into pits or install bottomless furnace trashcans—but pay more attention to recycling, and it will pay.

EWS affiliates who work as independent waste consultants can easily go to any business and help identify areas to recycle better and save. If one business can do it in practically every way possible – it’s clear that the possibilities are far from limited. So why not try? Take advantage of a work from home business opportunity today, help a business save, and earn more than you ever thought you could.

Recycling in Our Day to Day: A Business Opportunity in Itself

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

A few days ago I went to lunch with my friend.  While enjoying each other’s company over a good soup and salad combo at our favorite restaurant, I began to wonder if he was aware of how resourceful he is with everything he does throughout his day-to-day life.  I knew by asking him to list off all the items he consumed on the previous day I was going to get a strange look and would have to explain myself – but I knew the little experiment would be worth it.

green business opportunity

By realizing the magnitude of waste, you can seriously earn more.

Just as I felt that awkward pause we’re all so fond of and noticed a quizzical smirk—I knew precisely what would be said next, “you want me to do what?”   After some minor persuasion – perhaps in the form of a drink on me – he finally agreed and told me what he had for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between.

• Breakfast: eggs (last ones in the carton) and an individual cup of yogurt
• Mid-morning: Styrofoam cup filled with coffee
• Lunch: homemade sandwich brought in a plastic bag, bag of chips, and bottle of water
• Mid-day: apple
• Dinner: steak, salad, and 2 bottles of beer

Now here comes the reasoning to my bizarre question and a reason why recycling can be essential to a work at home business opportunity.  Out of everything my friend ate throughout the day, how much of it was recyclable? Obviously not everything was, but looking through his list, I can see that there are at least 8 things that could have been recycled.

Too often we don’t think twice about what we put into our trashcans.  We don’t realize how much money goes into our waste baskets.  It is like the saying “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”.  If you look into your trash at work, you might not find a lot of treasure – but you will find recyclables, and that has value.  By recycling, companies will be able to save money and contribute to a healthier environment. So, it’s really an easy sell.

Every day, EWS affiliates approach business and, essentially say: “I can save you money, at absolutely no cost out of pocket by helping you recycle better.”  Sure, it’s painfully simple. But it’s also painfully effective. So why wait? Have you ever wanted your own work at home business? Maybe recycling is the answer.

The Month of June, a Month of Reminders: Watch Some Baseball and Be Your Own Boss

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

If you turn the TV on practically any night in June, you’re likely to catch some baseball. No matter what part of the country you’re in, if you’re flipping through channels – you’re going to see it, it’s unavoidable. So, whether you like baseball or not, why not take a second and consider all of the trash in those stadiums.

work from home business

Work from home, no matter where that may be!

If you’ve ever been to a professional baseball game, or even a little league game for that matter, you’ll know that trash is everywhere. From the beer cups and the hot dog wrappers to the popcorn boxes and bags of peanuts. Trash is everywhere, and there’s a good chance that a lot of it can be recycled.

Shift back to the professional sports stadium and imagine the obscene amount of waste that must be piled into dumpsters and trash cans at the end of the night.  Now, think about how much money could be saved on hauling it all away if only a waste consultant approached stadium management. If a baseball stadium has subpar recycling, just think about how many other untapped markets there are just waiting for motivated entrepreneurs to make a difference with a simple business opportunity.

In the past, EWS affiliates taking advantage of a work at home business opportunity have done something very similar, approaching small, medium, and large businesses with the realistic promise of actually saving up to thousands of dollars by recycling more effectively every month.

The plastic alone that’s thrown away from a professional sporting event could provide enough power to give energy to many of the televisions that are actually watching the game. That’s how effective recycling can be. So why not give it a shot? For affiliates, businesses, and communities – the only result can be positive.  In the end, what was once an overflowing dumpster can transform into savings, a cleaner environment,  a home business opportunity, and everyone involved making a difference.
Where else do you see trash going to waste?

Take a Look Around: There’s A Business Opportunity in Every Trashcan

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010

I recently found myself on a trip that involved airports, train stations, coffee shops, and restaurants.  While traveling, I observed that recycling almost altogether stopped once I stepped outside the airport.  It was actually really difficult to find an opportunity to recycle. Surprising right?  Walking through the city, I decided to amuse myself and quickly glanced into one of the city trashcans—mind you, I was only glancing.  Within 3 seconds I s

aw 4 plastic bottles, a couple crumpled up newspapers, and handfuls of paper.  And that was just the top layer!

Now, I understand that if recycling is not made easy for individuals, they aren’t going to think twice about throwing away their daily newspaper or cup of coffee into the plain old trash.  This made me think, if the city trashcans aren’t supporting recycling, are the restaurants and other businesses in the surrounding area doing the same?  Still wondering about it, I decided to enter a local café for a sandwich and answer my own question.

While sitting down, enjoying the view and my lunch, I realized that I had about 7 things that were recyclable and nowhere to recycle them! Therefore, the paper my delicious sandwich was wrapped in, my paper napkin, plastic fork, plastic knife, plastic spoon (all which came wrapped in my napkin and were unnecessary for me to eat my sandwich) plastic bottle of water, and bag of chips were all sadly going into the trash with all the other recyclable items.  Now if I alone had 7 items that could have been recycled, how many more were there in the entire café?

So the next time you walk downtown and see trashcans loaded with debris or maybe when you’re sitting in a café enjoying a meal, think about recycling.  Could some of that trash eventually have been recycled into something more?  Could that business have saved money and contributed to a cleaner environment?  Those are all business opportunities that someone could capitalize on—and many businesses don’t even realize that they could be saving money on their waste disposal by recycling instead.

The opportunities are out there for independent waste consultants to help businesses clean up their waste streams and save….it’s only a matter of seeing them.

We like Things Easy: Make Recycling Easy and See the Opportunity

Friday, June 4th, 2010

Easy as pie, easy money, easy does it, easy going – just a few examples from a long list of clichés that prove that we love when things are easy.  All the time, we marvel at the people in our lives that ceaselessly make things difficult or lament the things in our day to day that stand in the way of an “easy” day.   Then again, if things were always easy, would we learn anything? When things are easy, they allow us to move on and take care of everything seamlessly – but when things are just a little difficult—when there’s even the slightest bump in the road, we learn new ways to adapt and overcome.

work from home business opportunity

Earn more with a business opportunity based on waste -- and you can do it from your own home. (Just don't interpret it like this person did!)

So what about recycling and business opportunities? Often, businesses learn the hard way that recycling isn’t always easy. Maybe this lesson comes in the form of having to pay for an expensive clean up or maybe it’s just the sudden realization that your business has been wasting money.  Either way, recycling doesn’t need to be hard, and it doesn’t have to be an obstacle. In fact, it can be easy – and it can make life for a business much easier as well.

Over the years, Environmental Waste Solutions has approached businesses with one goal – to make things easier. Our affiliates have thrived with work at home businesses centered on giving businesses the key to saving money without having to cut costs, cut jobs, or scale back. To do that – they’ve done one thing: make recycling easier, and it’s a work at home business opportunity that truly works.

You already know that the average person is much more inclined to do something the easy way than the hard way, so if you can show businesses a free and easy way to save money and deal with business waste – it’s only natural that it would be an easy service to pitch. This is the reality that thousands of EWS affiliates live with every day – and it’s easy! So why not take advantage?

Join the Environmental Movement and Profit with a Green Work at Home Business

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

Whether you know it or not, today – May 27th – is actually more significant than you might think when it comes to such things as recycling, conservation, and more or less the management of the never ending flow of waste that we just can’t help but contribute to. Today, is the birthday of Rachel Carson. Wait, don’t you know who she is? That’s ok – I didn’t either until about 10 minutes ago.

Rachel Carson was an American Biologist. Back before recycling was hardly an idea, her research and writing was responsible for planting the earliest seeds of what would one day become the modern day environmental movement. Without her, who knows where the environment and the recycling industry would be like today,

With her influence, the focus on the environment and what we can do to help it increased to where it is today – with businesses and organizations constantly taking advantage of new and innovative recycling initiatives.

Somewhere inside the longer story of the environmental movement, EWS and better business recycling fits in. By approaching businesses and identifying better ways to recycle we’ve been able to help them save money. At the same time, Environmental Waste Solutions affiliates across the country have had the chance to make an impact on the environment, participate in the environmental movement, and earn a living in a work at home business opportunity that actually works. And it’s all because of a little research.

Just like Carson chose to research the environment, our research followed years and years later. We chose to learn more about recycling and how to do it better for businesses. In doing so, we like to think that our affiliates have made a difference not only in their lives – but in the environment as well. Why not try for yourself? With just a little research into recycling and the impact it can have on our world, you wouldn’t be surprised that affiliates across the country have chosen to take advantage, go green, and start a new home business opportunity

Take a Closer Look, and You’ll See the Business Opportunity in Waste

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

Have you ever worked in an office or a store?  Sometimes it simply becomes second nature to overlook certain aspects of your work environment, but if you make the point to look a little closer it’s not hard to notice the sheer amount of waste that takes place. The business opportunity in waste

Look in your trash can, are there plastic bottles, sheets of paper half written on, printed pages that didn’t really need to be printed in the first place? It might not seem like a waste – because when it comes down to it, the people who are wasting mean absolutely no harm.  They just don’t realize their part in the cycle of waste that happens in businesses every day.

But if you think about all the waste that goes on, you’ll also remember that much of that waste (and sometimes, all of it) goes unrecycled.  By not recycling, those businesses are forced to throw it in the dumpster (that they pay for) and get it hauled away (which they pay for), and the more there is – the more money they pay.

If those businesses were to entirely clean up their waste stream, recycling as much as possible, they would save a significant amount of money – but many times they don’t know how.  That’s where EWS affiliates come in with a green business opportunity.  We’ve spent over 15 years researching and learning the recycling industry inside out so that when there’s something to recycle, we can pinpoint precisely the right way to recycle it to optimize the benefit for both the environment and the business doing the recycling.

In the end business, environment, and EWS affiliate win.  With the business saving, the environment chugging along just a little easier, and the EWS affiliate earning half of what the business saves.  So try looking at waste just a little differently and see what you notice.  Maybe it’s a green business opportunity; that’s ripe for you.

Try a Wider Perspective, Benefit from a Green Home Business

Thursday, May 20th, 2010

According to many, May 20th is regarded as the birthday of the Hubble Space telescope – The telescope that has allowed us to learn so much about our world and solar system, widening our perspective on who we are, where we are, and where we might someday go.

green business opportunity

Widen your perspective, profit, and work at home -- all with recycling better.

When we think about the Hubble telescope, we like to remember its connection to perspective, because gaining a wider perspective is a great thing.  Not only does it lead us to greater understanding, but in some cases it can even lead us towards an opportunity to live better and even earn more.

Take our business idea for example.  Environmental Waste Solutions has pioneered a green business opportunity that’s based entirely on trash. Trash.  Something that’s very name is synonymous with worthlessness.  However, by changing perspective – we learn that that’s not necessarily the case.  Waste is not worthless, looked at in a different way it can actually be much more – we can turn it into a business opportunity.

By helping businesses save with recycling, independent EWS affiliates across the country have gained the ability to earn the money they never knew they could while also making a difference. And if you think about it, that difference is made for the earth that the Hubble Telescope allows us to see in ways our ancestors never would have believed possible. So you see?  I’s all about perspective.  Whether you’re looking at a rock floating in space or 2 tons of business waste, a new perspective can send you in more directions than you ever thought possible.
