Earth Day 2010: How Did You Do? Is it Time for a Green Business Opportunity?

Monday, May 3rd, 2010

So just about a week ago Earth Day yet again came and went. We’re wondering, how did you do?  Did you almost throw that plastic bottle away but hold on to it instead with the intention of recycling it?  Pat yourself on the back!  Did you plant a tree? Clean up some trash? Or otherwise make some sort of positive impact on the environment? Great!  Earth Day was a great reminder for people across the world to make more of an impact by making less of an impact – but it can’t stop there.

We think Earth Day is fantastic, but it’s important to remember that there’s much more to accomplish when it comes to helping the environment.  Sure – Earth Day is an excellent opportunity to take some time for one day and do something beneficial for all of us.  Then again, you can do just that and earn money with it at the same time.

Earn money and go green with a green business opportunity

Years ago, we made a point to learn something more about recycling for businesses across the world, and it’s paid off in the end.  We learned that businesses don’t always recycle like they really could and we learned that they can often save thousands every month by recycling better.  Then again, we did the research and they don’t have that kind of time – so that’s where we step in to help.

Across the country, we’ve helped businesses save by showing them how to recycle better, and it cost them liter

ally nothing out of pocket – just part of what they saved with our advice. Ultimately, it’s turned into much more than just a good thing to do on the side.  In fact, it’s exploded into green business opportunity that allows ambitious people across the world make a difference and make a living.

Too often we hear about business opportunities that just don’t cut it, and on the tail end of a miserable recession we can understand everyone’s frustration. But waste is never going away, and the  recycling industry continues to grow, so the opportunities always there, and so is the chance to make a living while you make a difference.

Jump on the bandwagon

Sunday, February 15th, 2009

Businesses across the country are joining the cause to go green. However, this is one bandwagon that you shouldn’t be ashamed to climb onto. For example, many grocery stores have started buy-back programs so that their customers can return their shopping bags. With these programs, customers receive money for returning their grocery bags. It’s not a lot of money, but its enough to ensure that the store pays less for new bags and the impact on the environment is also much less.

At Home Business Opportunities

EWS follows a similar plan, except we’re interested in spreading both greening and savings far beyond one business. We look forward to helping businesses integrate green into their very core. In doing so, they also have the opportunity to reclaim the money that they unknowingly throw away through wasteful habits and carelessness. Let’s face it, everybody makes mistakes. But by approaching waste more thoughtfully, EWS helps businesses right their wrongs and reverse their wasteful mistakes, leaving everyone involved better off.

With EWS there is no guesswork. It’s not about wondering if the customer will return their paper bags for 5 cents and it’s not dependent on the sporadic choice of the customer. Instead the difference is based on a completely profitable restructuring of business.

So many business owners think they’re in full control of their business, but how can you say you’re in control when there’s money being wasted? The solutions provided by EWS affiliates are comprehensive and efficient; they leave nothing to chance and put business owners in a better position. Too many businesses don’t realize that they aren’t in full control, and by taking charge of their waste EWS affiliates ensure that they can be.

With EWS, businesses take charge and save. What is there to lose?

Regardless of the economy… waste must be dealt with.

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008

We’ve watched the debates and we’ve read the papers. While some people think that everything will change, others think it will be just more of the same. But regardless of how the country or the economy changes, the influences of America’s new president still will not affect one key aspect of life.

At Home Business Opportunities
Both senators in the presidential race said that they will do something about environmental change, the economy, and much more. We know (or we think we know) where they stand on the issues and we hear speculation on how their differences on the issues will affect the country.

One thing that cannot and will not change is the one fact of life that hasn’t changed since the dawn of time. It may sound dramatic but it’s true—we will always have to find some way to deal with trash.

No matter what type of solid waste businesses produce—EWS can make sure that they don’t waste money in the process. In a day where nothing ever seems to be set in stone—clients across the country have learned how nice it is to be able to rely on savings.

In many cases, men and women across the country went to the ballots with the future of their job or business in mind. They wonder, “what does the economy hold for me?” Or, “What will I be doing in 10 years?” EWS stands as one concrete reminder that some things don’t change, and in some cases—that isn’t always a bad thing. No matter what happens for businesses large and small, both EWS affiliates and their clients will always have one thing to depend on and one clear way to profit and save.

Clean up

Thursday, November 13th, 2008

You’ve seen people litter before, we all have, and many of us have done it ourselves. Maybe the trashcan was full or we didn’t want to leave it in our car, and a Styrofoam cup or crumpled piece of paper ended up on the ground. Or maybe you’ve been in a parking lot that was strewn with people’s garbage, with newspapers and coffee cups floating in puddles and blowing across the pavement.

Some people might look at a parking lot or a strip of road dotted with trash and shrug to themselves, thinking “what’s a little trash?” or “it will bio-degrade,” but EWS hopes to prevent businesses from taking the same nonchalant attitude. Sure, a parking lot cluttered with a few plastic bags might not look too bad, but imagine if everyone thought that way? Imagine how messy our communities would be if waste was the norm. We would be completely surrounded by it.

In the same way, if everyone thinks a little differently about waste, we would all reduce the effect that it has on our environment. We would transform the bad habit of litter into the good habits of conservation and recycling. That’s why EWS makes a point to help businesses adopt a progressive and concerned approach to waste. Why contribute to the problem of waste when you can be a part of the solution and save money in the process?

We like to compare our service to the volunteer picking up trash on the side of the road. The less waste there is, the better the road looks. It works the same way in a business. We find the source of waste and clean it up, leaving the business better than it was before.

Waste, Waste, Waste

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

Look out your window, or down the street. Lunch hour or not, if you make a point of observing, you’ll be sure to see that restaurants, stores, and all sorts of businesses create waste all day. Around lunchtime, you’ll see traffic increase, parking lots fill up and people slowly trickling into restaurants. At Home Business Opportunities They’re going to eat and they’re going to talk, but what some don’t remember is that they are most definitely going to create waste.

We’ve all found ourselves sitting in restaurants—more times than we can even count, but we don’t always think about the little things we leave behind every day. When it comes down to it, there’s far too much to worry about in life, and in business. For many of us, forgetting things is easier than waking up in the morning—we forget our keys, we forget appointments, and everything in between. How then can we be expected to remember our waste? For many, even the idea of forgetting waste is silly. How can we be expected to remember it?

That’s why EWS is here. Businesses have enough to worry about, and given the way we create waste every day—it’s always smart to remember where it’s going, and how to send it there. Like anything, waste costs money to take care of. However, unlike the bills we get in the mail every day, it’s easy to overlook waste.

Often, it’s the things we forget that cause the biggest problem. The keys we forget that make us late for an appointment, or the bill we lose track of that that leaves us withoutelectricity. In the very same way, forgetting waste can land us in a very expensive problem—a problem that EWS is dedicated to preventing and solving.

EWS helps businesses become something more.

At Home Business OpportunitiesThis August, people around the world watched the Olympics unfold in Beijing. We know that we don’t exactly have to tell you that. But behind the Gold, Silver, and Bronze—and often forgotten, is the true spirit the founders of the modern Olympics actually had in mind.
But before we lose you, we promise that this has something to do with efficient waste management. The same spirit of unity behind the Olympics is the same spirit that enables businesses across the country to push towards something better—a better environment, a better system of waste management, and a better life overall.
Take for instance the symbol of the Olympics, the five rings. We all know what they look like, and it’s not hard to guess that they stand for unity. What’s even more important is the Olympic creed. It says “The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well.” At EWS, we’ve found that this applies to much more than athletic competition.
Just like athletes strive to succeed over the rest, so do businesses. While the Olympic Creed encourages athletes to strive for something more, businesses at their best work to accomplish a bit more as well—more than a full bank account for instance. For many athletes, the lure of gold often makes them forget the unity of the competition. In the same way, the lure of profit often causes businesses to forget about their part in the community.
The Olympics are meant to be something more than a competition between countries, but instead a coming together. EWS helps businesses to save money and do their part. We work every day to help businesses take the extra step towards becoming not just a successful business, but a business that contributes something more to the economy, the community, and in their own small (but important) way—the environment
