In a Labor Daze? Get Out With a Green Business Opportunity

labor day 300x200 In a Labor Daze? Get Out With a Green Business Opportunity business recycling recycling

Labor Day - A perfect example of why you need a work at home business.

So, yesterday was   Labor Day. Did you have it off? Maybe you did and maybe you didn’t – but the question begs asking, “are you in a labor daze?” Do you go to work day and day out only to sit down at night and wonder, “what am I accomplishing?”  Maybe a change of career is what you need.

Years ago (more than I can even count), I felt the same exact way. I was tired of work work work, without the payoff that I was looking for, and I figured that the only way to truly get everything I put into my work would be to be my own boss.

I tried making it in one business – it didn’t work and I tried making it in another – it didn’t pay off. But finally I looked around. I saw all the trash that gets hauled away and realized that businesses waste money every day when it comes to business waste such as unused materials, common recyclables, and industrial waste.

I had it – not only a business opportunity that works, but a green business opportunity that helped businesses recycle and save money. Every business creates waste, every business wants to save money, and by earning half of what each business saved on the cost of their waste – they paid nothing out of pocket. It was a win-win for everyone.

Have you succeeded with a work at home business? Or maybe you’ve started a similar green business. Share your stories in the comments, and maybe we’ll delve deeper into what you have to say in a future post.

Leaves, Trash, and Opportunity

A business opportunity based on recycling is kind of like raking leaves

We’re not too sure about your families, but for many of us – the earliest beginnings of Fall bring to mind a number of traditions. From yearly family outings we squeeze into the last days of summer to the first family activities that are distinctly reserved for autumn, seasonal traditions are everywhere– but around here, the coming of fall brings to mind one distinct tradition, raking leaves.

Depending on your side of the country, not only will you begin to see leaves peppering the ground, but the thought will cross your mind that those leaves will, eventually, need to be disposed of, and that’s where the connection to waste is (you knew it was coming). Raking leaves is just like taking care of business waste. Without raking, your yard’s a mess. Without recycling, your business – and potentially your finances— can be a mess as well.

What are leaves? They look good, they smell good – but essentially, they’re trash. Left on your lawn, they’ll make it look bad and they’ll kill your grass.

What is trash? Trash doesn’t look good, trash doesn’t smell good, and if left on your lawn, everyone will avoid you.

Okay, so maybe in that sense, trash and leaves aren’t painfully similar, but when you think of how you can dispose of them, the similarities arise.

You can recycle leaves, and you can recycle trash. Doing both of these things has a positive effect on the environment and on your image. In that sense, recycling trash – just like recycling leaves – presents an opportunity for businesses to be better.  Just like recycling leaves will save you money by saving your grass – recycling business waste helps a business save money by making waste streams greener and more efficient. But most business owners don’t see this, they’re too busy. You can help them, and make a green business opportunity out of streamlining business waste in a wide variety of industries.
Have you ever wanted to be your own boss and start a work at home business? Now’s your chance. The leaves are fragrant, the trash is pungent – and it’s time to cash in.

A Green Business Opportunity, a Messy Black Example

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

Last month, we wrote about the situation in the Gulf of Mexico. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like things have gotten that much better. From the very beginning, there was concern that the oil would become a major environmental catastrophe, and it has. As horrible as it is, the whole thing brings to mind one of the most important factors in saving money for businesses – streamlining business waste.

The oil spill in the gulf of mexico is a great example of how business waste consultants can streamline waste to save money

When businesses streamline waste, they have to spend less in the long haul. It’s a lesson we can apply to much more than business waste. That is, by doing things right, remaining diligent, and being proactive early on, you can avoid the high costs of cleaning up a costly mistake. Well, an oil spill of any kind is a great example of a costly mistake.

Let think about it in a different and simpler context. The grocery store down the street throws away all the cardboard they accumulate at the end of every month. Unfortunately, for the business owner that isn’t in the know, that’s the end of the story!  However, the story continues if you can see waste from a more enlightened perspective.

For the independent waste consultant, that cardboard a business would normally throw away can be the valuable focus of a green new business opportunity, helping each business save money by recycling the waste they didn’t know they could. Eventually, that grocery store would have thrown away hundreds if not thousands of dollars in savings, expensively and unnecessarily hauling a great deal of value to the dump. But thankfully that can all be avoided.

With the right training, waste consultants can help businesses of all kinds make the right decisions about their “trash” early on. This way, they avoid wasting what they never knew was a valuable source of savings and avoid a major headache in the future.

At the same time, while working at home in a new business opportunity that allows you to be your own boss – the independent waste affiliate makes a percentage of each business’s savings and a positive impact on the environment at the same time.

The value people create with trash lets you be your own boss

Think about waste a little harder and you’ll realize that it truly is everywhere. Wherever there are people, there’s was

te. So if you’ve been following us for any stretch, you’ll know that – when it comes down to it – wherever there are people and the businesses to serve them, there’s a chance to really succeed with a work at home business opportunity.

Businesses save with recycling, and businesses love saving. Whether it’s a large arena like we mentioned in the last post about the  world cup or your neighborhood grocery store – by looking harder at business waste of any kind, you’re enabling yourself to work at home in a green business opportunity with no ceiling.

Every recyclable piece of “trash” that goes to the dump instead of being reused or recycled is potential value that’s thrown away. That value is something a waste consultant can hone in on and profit from, while helping the environment in the process.

Try looking at a crowd of people or take a walk downtown, whatever serves as inspiration. You will undoubtedly see that waste is prevalent. It’s everywhere, and that means that opportunities for a green business opportunity are also everywhere. By helping businesses reduce waste, you can earn a living with a work at home business opportunity that actually works.

Why wait? The waste a work at home business opportunity will help you profit from will just keep going to waste. Get started now, get the training you need, earn more, and make a difference.

“But I Already Recycle!”: There’s a Business Opportunity In What They Don’t Know

Tuesday, February 9th, 2010

Over the years we’ve helped quite a few (thousand) businesses save money with our business opportunity. From large businesses including some of the biggest soft drink distributors in the country to small mom and pop businesses down the street. However, no matter how long we do it, one thing never stops changing about helping businesses recycle better. It seems like every business we go to seems to say, “But we already recycle!”

Recyle, save, and earn!

Recyle, save, and earn!

Usually the conversation goes something like this. “You can save much more money by recycling.” To which the business replies, “But we do. We recycle paper and plastic.” What that business usually doesn’t know is that they can recycle much more than they actually think. Perhaps they didn’t know that they could recycle more paper. Or maybe they didn’t realize that they could recycle all that aluminum that they had sitting around gathering dust and looking lonely.

Either way, when it comes down to it – we almost always have the wonderful business opportunity that is proven to help our client businesses open their eyes and see that they can recycle much more to save much more. Over the years, Environmental Waste Solutions affiliates have come into the Environmental Waste Solutions business opportunity to be surprised by the recycling opportunities that they learn are available to all businesses. Before long they learn that those opportunities are opportunities they can profit from, and from there—the rest really is history.

It starts with the desire to save more, it continues with the realization that we can recycle more, and it ends with the gratification of earning more.

Spring Forward with Better Business Recycling

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

Are you starting to notice it?  As the days go by, they’re finally beginning to get just a little longer.  It’s not pitch black at 5:00 anymore, aSpring brings recycling to mind-- so why not recyle and earn money?nd there’s just the smallest hint of sunlight on the horizon on your commute home.  So what does it mean? It means winter is finally drawing to a close, and as the snow begins to melt you’ll start to see what it’s been hiding all along– everything you forgot to pick up and get rid of.  You’ll start noticing the leaves you didn’t rake up, the sticks littered across the yard, and (depending on how much snow you got this year) the lawn ornaments that have been buried all winter.

It’s kind of like business waste.  Sometimes you need an awakening to realize what you’ve been missing or overlooking for so long. So like the snow melts and you realize all the waste you left behind – businesses have just as many (if not more) opportunities to open their eyes and see how much they could be recycling where they weren’t before. From plastic bottles and paper to leftover manufacturing materials— they all don’t have to just sit there and go to waste. business recycling can  help.  They can be put to use, they can be recycled, and they can in one way or another be profited from.

That’s where Environmental Waste Solutions comes into play. Businesses can save money all they want but many times the change, or the “spring” that they need to see what they’ve been missing is the advice of an expert.  Environmental Waste Solutions trains independent waste consultants to approach businesses and present them the awakening they need to become green businesses, recycle more, and save money while they’re at it.

Stay Strong With Your Resolution: Make the Year TWENTY TEN a Green One

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

So we’re a couple weeks into the new year.  How’s it going?  By now you may have decided on a few things.  Is it two thousand ten? Two thousand and ten? Or Twenty Ten?  Well, according to the National Association of Good Grammar, aptly labeled “NAGG”, it really should be “Twenty Ten” – but that’s beside the point.

Stay Strong With Your Resolution to find a Better Job

What we’re really asking, is– how are your resolutions coming so far? Particularly, how are your resolutions about making a move towards a better and more fulfilling career coming?  It’s easy to set a goal and not follow through.  We set goals every day…. to clean up the dishes, pay the bills on time, work out every day, and so much more.

It’s easy to let things slide– but the important things, things like our careers, are things we can’t afford to let go.  That’s why it’s a good idea to embrace a good business opportunity when it comes along.

Environmental Waste Solutions has provided aspiring business people with a work from home business opportunity for the last 15 years—but its more than just an opportunity to make a living.  It’s real.

Too often the word “opportunity” is thrown around loosely, enough so that sometimes what we’re told are “opportunities” might not really be true opportunities.  Well waste is different. The way Environmental Waste Solutions teaches affiliates to approach waste and recycling allows them to completely take control of the real opportunity in business recycling.

All it takes is really looking at waste, and what can actually be done with it.  That aluminum can?  It can be more than dumpster filler.  The newspapers from last month?  They can be writing paper.  There’s opportunity in trash and EWS can shine a light on it— why wait to make good on your resolutions?

The Holidays are over but the giving (or Recycling) doesn’t need to stop

Thursday, January 7th, 2010

So the holidays are over, the hustle has subsided, and the crowds are quickly dispersing.  But as things finally start to slow down, visitors head home, and things return to normal– it doesn’t take long to realize that thing’s aren’t always as they were before the holidays descended on us like an offshore storm.

Business Recycling Presents an Amazing Business Opportunity for Entrepreneurs

Business Recycling Presents an Amazing Business Opportunity for Entrepreneurs

The first thing to go is the trashcans at the curb– fuller than ever and overflowing into the streets.  So as you look at the streets strewn with wrapping paper, bows, and the leftover food from  Christmas meal, think for just a moment about how much of the waste could be saved.

Sure, the food could be composted (but we won’t hold you to that), but the majority of your trash– the wrapping paper, bows, boxes, and cartons– can  be either reused or recycled.

When you think about the sheer amount of trash we throw away that can actually be recycled or reused, you begin to wonder how much businesses throw away when they can be recycling their waste on a much larger scale.

Think about the average office park that spends money every week to dispose of heaps of everyday trash.  A recycling alternative may not be obvious– but it’s there, and Environmental Waste Solutions can help businesses find it so they can go from spending money they don’t need, to saving money through more effective recycling.

All it takes is a little scrutiny, and that scrutiny isn’t hard to tap into.

Could You Use a Change?: Make a change to go green

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

Are you in a rut, because it seems like it’s always another day, another dollar, and the grass may be greener on the other side? Or maybe you have an axe to grind, you’re at the bottom of the pecking order, and your career feels like it’s going slow as molasses.  Well, there’s no need to beat around the bush.  You can break new ground and say “eat my dust” to your old career.

green business initiatives can help you save and earn money

green business initiatives can help you save and earn money

Clichés aside, green business can provide you with a work from home career change opportunity like no other.

The answer isn’t on the internet, it’s not some secret product, and it doesn’t take too much effort.  In fact, it’s been under your nose for your entire life.  It’s waste, it’s trash, it’s junk, and it’s not going to stop.  Waste has been around all of your life and it always will be.  Restaurants create it, offices toss it every week, warehouses haul it out by the truckload, and manufacturers seem to never know what to do with it.

The fact of the matter is that business recycling is easy.  It doesn’t take a lot to find the right way to get rid of the waste that so many businesses seem to never know what to do with, and you can make money doing it.  Over the years, environmental waste solutions affiliates have found a fantastic work from home career change opportunity by streamlining waste created by businesses in just about every industry.  In the end, the affiliate earns half the savings, the business spends absolutely nothing out of pocket to go green, and both parties benefit in the end. Could it get much better than that?

Everyone’s Doing It

Monday, November 30th, 2009

Look through any business section in virtually any paper in the country and you’ll find some mention of businesses attempting to cut costs. But what does “cost cutting” generally mean? Cost cutting means reducing benefits, taking away vacation, laying off workers, and ultimately making everyone involved just a little more unhappy. But, there’s much more that can be done.

Instead of viewing “cost cutting” as something entirely negative, the implications of cutting costs can actually be much more positive. In fact, cost cutting can be positive for more than just the business—but for everyone. Instead of reducing vacation time, cutting benefits, or even laying off workers, businesses can make a positive change to save money. That positive change is business recyclingand it will affect not only the business, but its employees and the community.

Environmental Waste Solutions has affiliates across the country that have helped some of the largest companies cut costs by rethinking their waste streams. In fact, you’d be surprised by how much waste goes wasted when it can be recycled in a number of ways instead.

Whether the business recycling is in the form of utilizing a materials exchange program, finding new ways to dispose of waste, or reorganizing waste streams to take advantage of existing recycling opportunities, by taking full advantage of better recycling, businesses can save money, save jobs, and save the environment. When it comes down to it, that’s a whole lot of saving done all at once, and the best part is that everyone wins.
